5 km from Sogndal. 50 metres from the Sognefjord is one of the longest and deepest fjord in the world. It is surrounded by mountains. At the entrance, the fjord is wide and the mountains low. As one gets into the fjord, it gets narrower and the mountains higher. The glaciers, jostedal glacier, the Stave churches, Urnes stave church ant the national parks in Norway are our best attractions. Very good possibilities for hiking, fishing, and relaxation.
